BlueHost is widely known as an acclaimed web host with very economically efficient deals. BlueHost’s website boasts an aesthetically pleasing layout, grammatically correct text, and clearly printed contact information. All of these signs lead to a professional web hosting company. Furthermore, Blue Host web hosting features a demo of their control panel on their website so that potential users can play around with it and get a feel for the control panel before opting to purchase a package from BlueHost.
The packaging, however, was a bit harder to find and I could only locate one package that had 300 GB of disk space and 3 TB of bandwidth. This by itself is a monstrosity of a package, and throw in the $9.95 a month and you have yourself a super-deal. However, there is a few small catches as some bluehost reviews will point out, the first of which is that there is a minimum 3 month agreement term, but as you opt for a longer term, the price goes down. The second catch is that there are installation and domain fees for the 3 month and 6 month packages. The total fees for both would amount to $40, which is a pretty hefty sum.
To make up for the pricing, BlueHost offers a very fast and reliable control panel with added options like a domain manager, site builder, and much more. In addition, BlueHost keeps all of its software up-to-date and offers Fantastico for scpriting. Its customer service is concise, fast, and is non-scripted (no long pauses while the representative looks up your answers.)
Pros - ENORMOUS amounts on disk space and bandwidth for the pricing, amazing support, lots of features
Cons – Minimum of 3 month agreement, installation and domain fees if purchasing 6+ month agreement
